TESOL/CELTA Course
What is the difference between TESOL and CELTA?
TESOL is the Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages
certificate, and CELTA is the Certificate of English Language
Teaching to Adults. There is little difference between them,
although generally speaking TESOL is a US recognised certificate,
and CELTA is a British recognised certificate. (Trinity TESOL
from the UK is a notable exception to this generalisation.)
Our TESOL/CELTA course is a comprehensive six-week course which
should be accepted by all English Language schools. The full
syllabus is detailed
here. Our school is accredited with
IPELT (Institute of Professional English Language Teaching).
The course is conducted in historic Kiev (or Kyiv as it is now known).
Course cost includes all tuition, materials, lfinding accommodation, a monthly card for travel on
the Metro, and transport to and from the airport on arrival and
departure. During your stay in Kiev, you will have
several
weekends free to explore and see the sights. We will happily
provide you with a list of contacts for people who will be glad to
show you around. We also organise some social events so you
can experience Ukrainian culture. There are many things you
can do in Kiev – from the opera and ballet to modern night clubs and
cafes, Irish pubs and of course, there is plenty to see. The
outdoor museum at Peregova is a must for anybody interested in
anything rural. There are literally dozens of museums and
galleries, markets and bazaars, ancient churches and modern
supermarkets. The contrasts are spectacular.
Course cost is $2,400 with a discount of 10% for advance payment.
Full price after discount is $2,160 if paid two months prior to the
start of the course. Book now to avoid
disappointment!
